Terry Price Cause of Death, Texas A&M Football Coach
A family member has confirmed that Terry Price, the Texas A&M defensive ends coach, died at the age of 55. He began working with the defensive ends in 2015 after joining the Texas A&M Aggies football coaching staff in 2012.

The Life and Legacy of Terry Price
Price has spent his entire life involved with football and has been a player and coach for the Texas A&M Aggies. He was a player from 1986 to 1989 and was a crucial part of Texas A&M’s back-to-back conference championship teams. During his junior and senior seasons, he led the defensive line in tackles.
He received All-Southwest Conference recognition as a senior, which helped the Dallas Cowboys select him in the 255th overall slot of the 10th round of the 1990 NFL selection.
He served as a member of the coaching staffs for the Ole Miss Rebels (1995–98 and 2009–11), the Texas A&M Aggies (2012–present), and the Auburn Tigers from 1999–2008. One of the most remarkable things for which he became known was his frequent cookouts for defensive linemen.
Price had a significant role in the Aggies’ defense’s shift to a 4-3 system, which has been extremely beneficial for the program.

He has worked as a defensive assistant for the Aggies under the last two head coaches, Kevin Sumlin and Jumbo Fisher. Landis Durham’s transformation in 2017 from a reserve linebacker in the squad to the Southeastern Conference’s top sack leader with 10.5 was one of his most significant coaching achievements.
Terry Price was one of the best recruiters of his era on the field, bringing in top defensive lineman including Myles Garrett, Justin Madubuike, DeMarvin Leal, and Dylon Mack. He was crucial in maintaining bowl eligibility for the teams he was affiliated with. His teams have competed in 21 bowl games while he has been their coach.
